The serial blasts in Bangalore brings to the fore the inherent haplessness of the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP). The government is already faced with lots of problems, almost in each and every sector, and the blasts happen to be the last nail in the coffin. Now why these ghastly incidents are occurring especially in the BJP-ruled states is a mater of great concern. If it is an expression of the anger of a section of the frustrated minority groups, due to the gross injustices during the post-Godhra riots of 2002, then it can be termed as unfounded.

If you give a glance to the minority persecution in any country, even more horrified realities can come out. For instance the fate of the minority Hindu community in both of Pakistan and Bangladesh from 1947 to date has been most unfortunate and even the Hindu minority population of Bangladesh has been termed as the worst affected and persecuted minority group in the international arena. The affluent percentage of the Hindus in that country, which in 1947 was around to 28 per cent has come down to staggering 7 per cent, if not more. The simple reason is that the minorities are leaving the country en masse since they perceive no future and also persecution is highest. Even in those countries there are no untoward information of bomb blasts.

Why is this happening in India then? Is the Muslim population tired over the Indian democracy and want to form a new homeland? If this is the real story then all states should have been equally targeted and followed by worst massacres. But this is not seen. The democratic atmosphere of India, in spite of its shortcomings, is credited to secure its minority population and concentrate towards their developments.

This is a nefarious design planned under the auspices of perpetrators from across border. The sooner the apposite measures are taken to deal with this menace the better it is, or else worse may only follow.
